Tribhuvan university of Kathmandu is the only such organisation in Nepal that has most of its related departments. Tribhuvan University has also established the Mountain Risk Engineering Unit, which has been carrying out investigation and control of landslides, and also conducting short-term training courses in bioengineering, landslide control, and geo-technical engineering for the last seven years. therefore, the proposed Land-Man Project would be an extension of those activities by utilising its experience and facilities.
