landslides management deals with situations that occur prior to, during, and after the landslide. the objectives of landslides management are: to reduce or avoid the human, physical and economic losses suffered by individuals, by the society, and by the country at large.
post-graduate courses in this field are not available from any universities throughout the world.

all these considerations lead to the establishment of the fact that there is a clear need for the creation of the new curriculum of Landslides Manager with the following objectives:

     1. general:
                       develop both a new curriculum and a new distance learning model
                       focused on providing target groups with training and
                       state-of-the-art resources for Landslides Management.
                    
   1.1. use technology to introduce and implement landslides study
                              in large (and growing) numbers of students simultaneously.
                       1.2. develop a new curriculum in the field of Landslides
                              Management.
     2. tutors/professors:

                       provide tutors/professors with training.
                       2.1. provide tutors/professors with appropriate materials and
                              support to enable them to change to the new teaching model.
                       2.2. provide for tutor's assessment of training, self-esteem,
                              comfort level, commitment, and enthusiasm.
     3. student:
                       nurture positive attitudes about distance learning by changing
                       how students learn landslides management, using the latest
                       educational strategies and technology.
                       3.1. develop process skills.
                       3.2. support the development of multi-disciplinarity.
