the target groups are:
     1. authorities and organisations responsible for the care and protection
         of land and environment:
                       - national civil protection organisations responsible for
                         legislation and strategic policy;
                       - local authorities responsible for the development planning
                         and the management of land;
                       - associations, professional ranks, etc…
     2. professionals directly involved in the field of management
         of land and environment:
                       - geologists;
                       - engineers;
                       - agronomists;
                       - botanists;
                       - foresters.
     3. the education sector:
                       - post-graduate students in geology;
                       - post-graduate students in environmental engineering;
                       - post-graduate students in earth and environment science.

indirect beneficiaries at different stages of the project will include:
     - national and regional environmental industry and their service providers.
